To ensure your photo canvas remains durable and secure you must do the following before displaying it!

Once you recieve your canvas, carefully unpack it.

When your canvas arrives it may be too stretched or too losse, in order for it to adjust back to normal size you must leave it for 3 hours in room temperature.

Make any final adjustments that are necessary by following these handy tips:

- Gently hammer in the 4 pegs to tighten your canvas
- To make it loser pull the four pegs out slightly.

Printerpix hopes these tips have been able to help!

Photo canvases beautifully display your most treasured photographs. They look amazing and should last a life time. However, in time every day wear and tear, moisture and dirt can damage your canvas. To prevent this from happening we highly recommend you clean your canvas regularly to ensure it looks stunning for many years to come.

How to clean your canvas

To clean your canvas first remove it from the wall and shake gently to remove any dust or loose dirt. Using a dry, soft cloth rub over the surface, if there are stains use a damp cloth. Do not apply too much pressure.

What to avoid

1. Avoid cleaning your canvas with water. Any kind of wetness can damage the paint. If you do accidently spill water on to it, lightly dab it with a completely dry cloth. Do this quickly before the water gets absorbed in to the canvas.

2. Avoid direct exposure to the sun and do not hang your canvas where there is always a change in temperature.

3. To avoid acid damage make sure you buy an acid free frame.

It is important your clean your canvas regularly and avoid the points above. Following these simple steps will ensure your canvas lasts for many years to come.
